It’s been two loooong years, but festival season is finally back in our lives! It’s summer, music festivals are on, and we still can’t believe that we’re out and about partying again. After two years without such big events, we’re super curious about the new trends emerging with the festival season. Do you want to find out what to wear this summer and get some inspiration for your festival styles? We got you. 

Colorful Nails and Makeup

If you love colorful nails and makeup, this festival season is your chance to go WILD. Thanks to the hit series Euphoria, flashy eye makeup is a big trend this year. Fancy eyeliners, glitter, as well as eye shadows in all colors of the rainbow are radiating main character vibes. Match it with striking, colorful nails and you’re good to go.

Key-piece: Headband

It’s stylish, versatile and it protects your head from the sun: We’re not going anywhere without our headband as a key accessory. It’s a summer must-have you’ll definitely want to have with you when dancing in the sun for hours.
We’ve challenged our colleague Saskia to come up with different ideas on how to use and wear the headband – it’s safe to say that she rocked this challenge.  

Crochet, Simple, Wild West & the 00s

Outfit-wise, there’s a wild mix of different styles trending this year. 

- Crochet pieces are always a good pick, giving you some flower power 70s vibes. 

- You found some nice cowboy boots without an occasion to wear them? How about the next festival, because wild west looks are in. Channel your inner cowgirl and go yeehaw!

- Another fashion trend coming back is the early 00s with head-to-toe denim fits, bucket hats, and sheer dresses. Do you remember when Britney, Christina, Destiny’s Child and co. walked the MTV Music Awards red carpet in 2001 with all those fun outfits? Well, now is your time to show off these looks!

- If all of this is not your style, it’s always a good idea to keep it basic and add some eye-catching jewelry. Here is our styling inspiration for a classy-casual festival look.
