Creativity, Lightness, and Empowerment – Janina on Her Inspiration and Female Strength
On International Women’s Day, we speak with inspiring women from the PURELEI team. Today, Janina gives us insight into her world of creativity and passion. She shares what inspires her every day and why sisterhood is so valuable. A conversation about lightness, courage, and the power of community – let yourself be inspired!
Introduce yourself – who are you, and what do you do at PURELEI?
I’m Janina, and I’m Head of Design at PURELEI, meaning I’m one of the creative minds. I bring PURELEI’s vision to life when it comes to creative concepts and designs.
What inspires you the most every day?
I think it’s the small things, especially flowers. I love flowers and nature. Flowers are an absolute inspiration for me. They are something very beautiful and unique.
How do you want to inspire other women?
I want to encourage women to talk about both their successes and failures, to take on challenges in their careers, and to fully embrace all aspects of womanhood. No woman should hold herself back – she should confidently move forward.
Which woman has influenced or inspired you the most?
I hope everyone mentions their moms. I think mothers are the women who shape and inspire us the most. That’s definitely true for my mom – she has always shown me willpower, strength, and emotion. If I had to describe her with one adjective, it would be unwavering strength.
What is your superpower?
Lightness – not taking life too seriously. People often tell me that I radiate a sense of ease. I don’t always see it myself, but I believe it’s an absolute strength to be able to project this feeling to other women. I try to approach everything with a positive mindset, and if that inspires others to realize they don’t have to be perfect all the time, then that’s a wonderful thing.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
I believe that on International Women’s Day, we as women can bring great focus to important issues and raise our voices. Of course, we shouldn’t limit this to just one day, but it’s a moment where we are heard – and we should use it together to stand up for the things that matter to us.
What does empowerment mean to you?
For me, empowerment means encouraging women to pursue their dreams and visions while also supporting them in making it happen.
What do friendships between women mean to you?
This sense of sisterhood is something truly special that every woman should experience. It can happen between friends, colleagues, or in any space where trust and connection exist. When it’s real, you never want to be without it.
What gives you more strength – courage or community?
For me, it’s the combination of both. When we are brave within a community, we can achieve great things. That’s why it’s all about the mix.
What does Together, We Grow mean to you?
To me, Together, We Grow means that when we as women fully embrace our potential, we help each other grow together as a community.
How do you define female strength?
Female strength is when we embrace all the facets of who we are – softness, determination, courage, and resilience. When we feel aligned with our thoughts, our bodies, and our decisions, then female strength is the most powerful thing we can have.
