Disposal of electrical and electronic equipment
1. Disposal of electrical and electronic equipment: The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol means that you are legally obliged to take this equipment to a collection point separate from unsorted municipal waste. Disposal via the residual waste bin or the yellow bin is prohibited. If the products contain batteries or rechargeable batteries that are not permanently installed, these must be removed before disposal and disposed of separately as batteries.
2. Options for returning old equipment: Owners of old equipment can hand it in at the return and collection facilities set up and provided by public waste management authorities so that proper disposal of the old equipment is ensured. An online directory of collection and take-back points is available at: https://www.ear-system.de/ear-verzeichnis/sammel-und-ruecknahmestellen
3. Data protection: We point out to all end users of waste electrical and electronic equipment that they are themselves responsible for deleting any personal data on the old equipment to be disposed of.
