Home Story: Verbringe den Muttertag mit Co-Founder Alisa

Aloha,

Mother's Day is just around the corner! I am very happy to celebrate this special occasion with introducing a new blog series: our Home Stories

If you're into interior, getting creative at home or looking for some inspiration about spending just another day at home (yes, we're still in a lockdown in Germany), this series is made for you.

Here's how our cofounder and mother of a one-year-old boy will spend her second Mother's Day at home.

Finding the balance between baby and business

... is not always easy, and so Mother's Day definitely is a well deserved day off. And here are some of Alisa's favorite things to do on Mother's Day.

Family breakfast

Breakfast in bed with a toddler? Without being a mom myself, I don't really think that's a thing. The day starts early, so a healthy shared breakfast it is – with lots of fruits and the first cup of coffee.

Finding the time (and motivation) for home workout

Even though it can be challenging to motivate yourself to regularly motivate yourself to do it, there are so many advantages to workout from home! You don't need much for it, you can watch the little one – and even include him using him as a weight! – and don't have to worry about spending too much time commuting.

Picnic in the garden

Who doesn't love to throw a blanket down under a beautiful tree, soak up the sunshine and enjoy some good food? You don't need much to be happy.

Coffee & reading time

One of the best combinations during lockdown, a day in the sun or some time out? A good coffee and a book.

Netflix documentary

There are so many inspiring documentaries on Netflix! Netflix is not only great for binge watching and diving into a story that makes you forget your surroundings, but it's also a great place to learn about our earth, nature and people. Especially when it comes to sustainability, education is key. The more you watch – and educate yourself by looking up facts and gaining more knowledge about a certain topic, the better.

What are your TOP 5 activities for an Aloha-filled day at home?

Share your thoughts in the comment section and make sure to follow our Instagram for more Mother's Day fun. We have a great story to share over there, so it's worth following along ... I promise!

I'm wishing you a calm, relaxing and – most of all – safe Mother's Day. Enjoy every bit of it.

Love Lauri
